My Mediation Process
Intake
1-hour confidential intake per participant. This allows for a better understanding of your individual situation, as well as an opportunity to speak freely about any concerns or reservations you may have. This also gives me the opportunity to assess both appropriateness for mediation as well as the best method to utilize for your circumstances.
Sessions
Mediation meetings tailored to your needs and situation. My theory is that few longer sessions tend to be more productive. Within the process we discuss the key areas for a successful agreement such as
- Finances-equalization of assets
- Parental planning
- Future communications and relations
- Child and spousal support
What do you recommend as the immediate steps we need to take?
Mediation report supplied after each meeting to ensure everyone walks away with the same understanding. When emotions are high its sometimes difficult to retain all the information with clarity.
Wrap up session to determine that all the relevant areas are covered and agreed upon.
Legally binding separation agreement
Payment Options
Hourly rate – $175.00/hr – This rate is applied to all meeting and administration. I do not charge extra for quick and simple phone calls or emails.
Flat Fee – Determined after intake based on complexity of your case.
*$150.00 – File fee is also necessary for every file. This is a transferred fee for the use of DivorceMate database.
